The new Mossberg® Maverick 88 Cruiser Pump Shotgun coimes with pistol grips and forends in black synthetic, and a blued metal finish. They feature dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup and an anti-jam elevator to provide trouble-free operation. A handy cross-bolt safety and front bead sight are also standard.
The Mossberg Maverick is a versatile firearm that can be configured for many different applications. The cross-bolt safety featured on all Maverick 88 models provides the benefit of an ergonomic and quick engagement of the safety on these pistol grip configurations.
The Maverick 88 Cruiser Shotgun was originally built for police cruiser usage, but is also a perfect “truck gun” or home defense tool. With the cylinder bore there is no worry about shooting various loads through a tight choke.
