The Savage Axis II XP Bolt-Action Rifle is chambered for .308 Winchester and has a 22-inch carbon steel barrel with a matte black finish.

It comes with an AccuTrigger that can be customized to the shooter’s desired weight of pull. It has a durable synthetic stock that has a rubber recoil pad and a Factory-mounted 3-9x40mm scope.

This rifle has been designed with features to prevent an accidental discharge and a two-position tang safety easily can be reached with the shooterÂ’s thumb. The sling swivel studs allow the effortless attachment of a sling or even a bipod to the fore-end.

A lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. A silky-smooth bolt and detachable box magazine provide uncompromised reliability.

A 2-position tang safety is easy to reach with the shooter’s thumb. Sling swivel studs allow you to carry the rifle with a sling and/or attach a bi-pod to the fore-end, and a rubber recoil pad enhances comfort while shooting.
